The Oregon Law Enforcement Memorial Ceremony will be held May 8, 2012 at 1pm at the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training.

The Oregon Fallen Fire Fighters Memorial will be held September 20, 2012 at 1pm at the Department of Public Safety Standards and Training.

In 1962, President Kennedy proclaimed May 15th as National Peace Officers Memorial Day and the calendar week in which May 15th falls, as National Police Week.
